Growers with eligible fields in Ohio may now qualify to earn up to $20/acre1 for eligible practices in 2026 through the Bayer Carbon Program. Enroll eligible acres to be considered for this limited, one-time enrollment bonus opportunity.
Key Requirements:
✓ Field(s) must be located in Ohio
✓ Field(s) must be planted with soybeans in 2026
✓ Field(s) must have no-till, strip-till, reduced-till*, and/or cover crops implemented since fall of 2019
✓ Field(s) must be newly enrolled in the 2026 Bayer Carbon Program
✓ Field(s) must meet all other program requirements including carbon asset generation requirements
Potential Earnings:
✓ Up to $10/acre when you implement no-till/strip-till on eligible acres
Includes $6/acre standard program payment + $4/acre one-time enrollment bonus payment
✓ Up to $10/acre when you implement cover crops on eligible acres
Includes $6/acre standard program payment + $4/acre one-time enrollment bonus payment
✓ Up to $20/acre when you implement both no-till/strip-till/reduced-till* + cover crops on eligible acres
Includes $12/acre standard program payment + $8/acre one-time enrollment bonus payment
Note: Payments subject to confirmation that carbon assets will be generated.
